RV SLIDE-OUT LUBRICANT is formulated to protect all types of RV slide out mechanisms from rust and corrosion while also lubricating to ensure smooth and quiet operation. This RV slide lube is long-lasting to extend the life of slide outs and is safe to use on metal, rubber, vinyl and plastic.
The Science
Hot Shot’s Secret Slide Out Lubricant is a synthetic grease that has a wide temperature range of -80°F to 400°F. The unique formula contains rust and corrosion inhibitors to provide 216 hours of protection on the ASTM-B117 Salt Fog Spray Test. Designed to stay put on surfaces Hot Shot’s Secret Slide Out Lubricant exhibits a wash out rate of only 7% @ 105°F in the D-1264 Water Wash Out Test. We have also incorporated extreme pressure additives that provide a weld load point of 250kg in ASTM D-2596 Four Ball Test with a Load Wear Index of 48 at 77°F to ensure that your tracks do not wear and remain intact for longer than your RV will last.
